This Privacy Policy explains how Car Check Report (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use https://v1.cloudtng.com and related services (the “Service”).

1. Who we are

Car Check Report provides vehicle safety and reliability reports assembled from publicly available U.S. government data sources. Contact: support@v1.cloudtng.com or via our Help Center.

2. Information we collect

• Account & contact data: email address, optional name, support ticket messages.
• Vehicle data you submit: VINs and related check history.
• Order data: product type, amounts, order identifiers. Card payments are processed by our payment provider (e.g. Lemon Squeezy); we do not store full card numbers.
• Usage data: pages viewed, landing-page variant assignment, referral info, approximate location from IP, device/browser type.
• Communications: emails we send (delivery, opens/clicks where tracked), and messages you send to support.
• Cookies & similar tech: session cookies, preference cookies (e.g. landing-page test assignment). See our Cookie Policy.

3. How we use information

• Provide VIN checks, reports, downloads, and your saved-check account.
• Process payments and prevent fraud/abuse.
• Send transactional emails (report delivery, magic login links, support replies).
• Send marketing or reminder emails only where allowed; you can unsubscribe anytime.
• Improve the Service (analytics, split tests, reliability monitoring).
• Comply with law and enforce our Terms.

4. Legal bases (EEA/UK where applicable)

We process data where needed to perform a contract with you, with your consent (e.g. optional marketing), for legitimate interests (security, product improvement) that are not overridden by your rights, or to meet legal obligations.

5. Sharing

We may share information with:

• Service providers that help us run the Service (hosting, email delivery, payment processing, analytics).
• Payment processors to complete checkout.
• Authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety.

We do not sell your personal information.

6. Data sources about vehicles

Report content is assembled from publicly available sources such as NHTSA and EPA datasets/APIs. Those sources have their own terms. We do not claim to be affiliated with or endorsed by NHTSA or EPA.

7. Retention

We keep account, order, report, and support records for as long as needed to provide the Service, meet legal/accounting requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion subject to those needs.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures (HTTPS, access controls, encrypted secrets at rest where applicable). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

9. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent. Contact support@v1.cloudtng.com. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

10. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. International transfers

Your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where we or our providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards.

We may update this Policy. We will post the new version with an updated date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
