These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Car Check Report at https://v1.cloudtng.com (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Car Check Report provides informational vehicle safety and reliability reports based primarily on publicly available U.S. government data (including NHTSA and EPA sources). Reports may include VIN decode details, recall-related information, complaint trends, crash-test ratings, and fuel-economy related data, presented in a teaser and/or paid PDF format.
2. Important limitations (please read)
- Reports are not title reports, lien reports, odometer histories, accident/collision histories, theft records, or insurance claim histories.
- We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an agent of NHTSA, EPA, or any vehicle manufacturer.
- Data may be incomplete, delayed, or unavailable for some vehicles. Upstream sources can fail or change.
- Reports are for general informational purposes and are not professional advice (legal, mechanical, or otherwise). Always inspect the vehicle and use your own judgment.

3. Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding contract and use the Service only for lawful purposes. You are responsible for the accuracy of VINs and contact details you submit.
4. Accounts & access
You may save checks and access reports using an email-based magic link (no password). You are responsible for keeping access to your email secure. Do not share private report links if you want them to remain private.
5. Orders, pricing & payment
Paid products (e.g. single report or multi-report bundle) are shown at checkout. Prices may change. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. By purchasing, you authorize the charge described at checkout. Digital reports are typically delivered immediately or shortly after payment confirmation.
6. Refunds
Refund requests are handled under our Refund Policy.
7. License to use reports
When you purchase a report, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use that report for your own vehicle-shopping decision. You may not resell, republish, or commercially redistribute report content without our written permission.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to: abuse or overload the Service; scrape or automate beyond normal use; attempt to bypass payment or security; submit unlawful content; or use the Service to harass others or violate law.
9. Emails
We send transactional emails related to your checks, purchases, and support. Marketing or reminder sequences may be sent where permitted; you can unsubscribe via the link in those emails.
10. Intellectual property
The Service’s branding, software, and site content (excluding public government data) are owned by us or our licensors. Public government data remains subject to its original terms.
11. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE AND REPORTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT REPORTS ARE ERROR-FREE OR COMPLETE.
12. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SPECIFIC ORDER GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
14. Changes & termination
We may modify or discontinue parts of the Service. We may update these Terms by posting a new version. Continued use constitutes acceptance. We may suspend access for abuse or legal risk.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, excluding conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protections in your country apply. Courts in that jurisdiction will have exclusive venue, except where consumer law requires otherwise.
